I transferred my goods from Chennai to Banglaore 18-Jul-08. After comparing different packers and their respective quotations I selected this stupid packers due to their good name in market though they
quoted max among all.
They have a policy of collecting the whole amount of transfer in advance so that if there are any damages we can’t retain any amount from initial agreed figure. They insist to go for an insurance that is again an additional income for them.
Even with all these conditions in place they assured me of transferring the goods safely without any damages. On the day when the items were transferred it was my last day in earlier company so I was not present personally during packing and loading.

4 years back, I used the (dis)services of Aakash International (huh)
Packers and Movers. As it has been 4 years since that experience, my
review won’t be very detailed. But as I noticed another
review of these
guys on this site today, I thought I should write one too.
I had to move some household stuff and a car from Gurgaon to Bangalore.
After taking quotes from a few packers and movers, I decided to go with
these guys as their quote seemed reasonable, the sales guys seemed ok,
and they had a neat website.
Though I had few complaints about packing and loading, except that they
did not even get markers to mark packages, delivery was an entirely
different story.
Against the promised delivery time of 5-7 days, I did not get my stuff
for 20 days. And I had to go through much anguish during this delay. I
called up many of their employees (including Sunil who seems to be the
kingpin) to find out where my stuff was, but they had no clues. After
hearing "tomorrow" and "day after" for many days, I threatened them
with lodging a police complain about my missing car and other stuff. A
little later, they stopped taking my calls.
I finally went to their Bangalore "office", which I found to be a shady
and dinghy place.
The person there after a brief hearing, went away on
the sly.
A few days later, I went to their office again, and saw my car parked
outside on the road. As I had a spare key, I drove the car back with me
as their office was closed (lack of business I guess) and I could not
wait any longer.
When my household stuff finally arrived, my washing machine was damaged
as they had not packed it in crates which they should have done.
