Moving Checklist

We recognize that it can be difficult to remember everything that is required when you are moving. One great way to try to remember is to make sure you prepare a moving checklist. What goes on such a list? Well, we thought you would never ask! Here is a solid starting point for your list:

Make sure your children's vaccinations are up-to-date.3 weeks
Get your medical records from all your doctors (dentist, eye doctor, family doctor, etc.).3 weeks
Find all the doctors you need at your new location.3 weeks
Get an auto shipping estimate as well as a moving estimate.3 weeks
Connect all of your utilities at your new home and disconnect at your old home.3 weeks
Get a copy of all schools transcripts for your children (if needed).2 weeks
Select your mover and packing company and pay any deposits required.2 weeks
Start packing all non-essential items. Anything you use less than once per month.2 weeks
Everything but the essentials should be packed.1 week

Verify the move date one more time with your movers.1 week
